In the last dozen years we have poured about 1000 tons of plastic. After some careful consideration and experimentation, we have decide to make some distinct changes to our plastic. Polyurethane holds have a couple major benefits over holds made from polyester resin. The most obvious is durability. Poly U holds also have bit flex, making them work better on walls with curves and texture. Finlay Poly U is more environmentally sound than polyester. Big news after months of testing and working with chemists in the biz we have developed a new plastic mix for all of our climbing holds. All of our climbing holds use stronger, cleaner, and more environmentally sound Polyurethane with at least 10% recycled and natural materials.
